Castor Pollux, germinated from the break up of Fappy Tweed in 2000.
Lyrics were written from the soul, spirit, and the heart and they spoke of some common subjects through the use of some uncommon language configurations. With all of the guys contributing to the vocals, the range was from light and airy to dark and heavy with hints of The Cure and Radiohead. "This music is for listening," someone stated at a show at Two Stick...but it was also very danceable...if you know how to get underneath the surface and feed on those trance-like qualities of the instrumentation–the rolling rhythmns and the repetitions that seemed to permeate the CP style.
Dancing to it all made you think you had left the room and transposed yourself into the notes themselves. Good days/nights, those were.
